Scoping Workshop for Terrestrial & Freshwater Ecologists: 19/05/2011

This workshop is designed to explore the range of approaches, assumptions and research priorities concerning the valuation of biodiversity, ecosystem services and natural resource use. The one day meeting with a focus on gathering input from researchers with a special interest in processes in the terrestrial and freshwater environment that influence ecosystem function.

The specific purpose will be to assess gaps in our knowledge base of some of the key biological, chemical and physical processes, and the uncertainty created by non-linear system dynamics, which might critically influence the valuation of both ecosystem service flows and natural resource stocks.

May 19th, 2011 10:00 AM   through   4:30 PM
