The VNN town Meeting took place at RIBA London on Friday  23rd June 2011. Presentations were given by Peter Costigan (the Defra view on VNN), Andrew Impey (the NERC perspective on VNN), Georgina Mace (on the link between VNN and the NERC/DfiD ESPA programme), David Raffaelli (on the link between VNN and the NERC BESS programme). VNN PI Ian Bateman also presented findings from the preceding VNN Scoping and Interdisciplinary Workshops and the consequent Draft Research Agenda. He also presented Tips for Teams, outlining the type of bids the VNN is hoping to elicit for support in its call for funding applications which will be published in July 2011.
